Richfield Chamber of Commerce

We’ve lived in Richfield, MN for over 30 years and we’ve been active members of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce whose mission is to build community and economic prosperity in our city by promoting and representing business.

Great Pumpkin Giveaway

We’ve proudly co-sponsored this beloved community event for nearly 20 years! Each year in early October, we join forces with other Richfield businesses and organizations to distribute over 600 pumpkins to local families. The event has grown to include activities and fun for all ages.

Winter Coat Drive

Our inaugural drive in 2023 with other Richfield partners was a tremendous success, thanks to the generosity of our community. We were able to collect and donate almost 1,000 items to Richfield schools.

Richfield Citywide Food Drive

For the past 4 years, each spring, we’ve partnered with local businesses and organizations to distribute bags to over 6,000 households in Richfield. We then collect these bags filled with non-perishable food and personal care items and donate them to VEAP (veap.org) and the Richfield High School Resource Center (rhs.richfieldschools.org). We are proud to have donated approximately 10,000 lbs. each year.

Richfield Foundation

Partnering with non-profit organizations and community groups, the foundation strives to make a positive impact in Richfield. Over the past 25 years, the foundation has provided more than a quarter of a million dollars in support. Dave has been serving on the board since 2023.

Kindness Campaign

A portion of each loan closing is donated to a non-profit organization. Recently, we chose to recommend Urban Homeworks, a group we’ve proudly supported for nearly 25 years. Urban Homeworks is leading the fight for housing justice so that all people have a safe, stable, and dignified place to live. Learn more about their incredible work at urbanhomeworks.org.

Treehouse (treehousehope.org)

On a mission to end hopelessness among teens. Dave has been a small group leader for over 10 years providing weekly support and mentorship for teens in our area.

Dress for Success Twin Cities (dressforsuccesstwincities.org)

Empowers every woman through employment. They offer high touch, high impact career and workplace skills development programs for low income women to help them achieve career advancement, career stability and economic sustainability. The Hintermeister team has hosted a networking event and presented at the Power Hour seminars.
